Screen printing workshop

This week I have been learning how to screen print. The preparation is very long and there is a lot of waiting around for screens to dry but once you get into the printing it’s great. You can create lots of prints in a short period of time and it’s very easy to do. I printed off images onto acetate of a drawing I created and exposed it into my screen. I chose a red colour to screen print first and then overlapped these images once dried with a blue colour. When I put the red directly on top of the blue it created a purple image.
